I put the Pro in procrastinate.

I have a confession: I could probably win an award for the amount of procrastination I've accomplished in my life thus far.  I'm not proud of it, but I can't escape it.

As a high school student I went to school all day (and by that I mean I showed up about 30-45 minutes late every morning and then went to school all day), had Dance every afternoon, and by the time I got home I was spent. If I was lucky I could stay awake long enough for dinner, and then I'd immediately fall asleep.  But when did I do my homework you ask? Oh, I'd usually start that around 10pm ish and stay awake until maybe 1 or 2am, then I'd go to sleep and start the vicious cycle again. Yes... it sucked.  I never figured out how to make it all work.  In case you are wondering, I did make it through!  :) I graduated and then off I went to college to see if I could be better.  Hahaa... ya, right.

I'm in the middle with the glasses and the impressive medal (HA!):

This fine looking group of individuals is the "Newport Town Crew."  I cannot possibly talk about them in a couple sentences, so I've been working on their very own post which will be coming soon!

Anyway, getting back on track here... why am I all of a sudden confessing my deep dark secrets?  I had a procrastination flashback tonight.  I'm out of town for work.  I got done dinner with co-workers around 7:30pm tonight and was so exhausted that I came back to my room and almost immediately fell asleep.  I woke up just 30 minutes ago (around 10pm) and thought I'd check the facebook scene (insert stupid line about being addicted to facebook here). Well a friend started a new blog that I was checking out and saw that I was on the list of blogs she reads along with when my last post was. EEEEEK.  1 week ago.... ruh roh.  I'm slacking.  The rest is history:  I'm writing a blog post about my lack of writing a recent blog post.

I shall be crowned the Queen of procrastination and I shall rule procrastination land.  Please, no autographs.
