Pink Penguins and Pajamas

THE LION KING

The part of Vermont I reside in clearly underestimates the need for matinees... so Lucien and I drove the hour and a half to Burlington today to watch THE LION KING 3D!! The amount of nostalgia that it brought me cannot be down played.  We laughed... we cried. We had a fantastic day.  I also discovered something about myself: I still sing the chanting part of The Circle of life as "Hey mama pink penguins and pajamas," thanks to an old friend.

We Need an Intervention

I stood up from my laptop (in the middle of the sofa) to take this photo.  I guess this is considered "hanging out with friends" 2011 style.
